Merrick here, peeking from beneath tattered burlap with a totally fantastic bit of news...
Supercool Voice Articulist (I don’t think 'articulist' is actually a word) Billy West says Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's FUTURAMA will be returning to television in the form of 26 new episodes.
If memory serves, recently announce plans called for the production of 4 straight-to-DVD, feature length installments. Not sure where those plans went, or why the gravitation back to TV is happening instead, but I'll eagerly embrace, fondle, and moistly caress any FUTURAMA I can get.

Wonder where these episodes will be shown? Hopefully on Cartoon Network...where they stand a chance of being aired regualrly and actually seen by viewers. Of course, failing to air a series regularly and reliably could never impact that show finding an audience...could it, Fox?

Beauty school is going well, I will start taking clients in June or July. I am already starting men's hair cutting tomorrow! I just finished learning how to do perms, talk about yuckie. I like it a lot though, and I have a great teacher. She is really hard on everyone, which I like, because it creates a challenge. She pushes us to do our best, which is what I am paying for. More to come later, as in the next 6 weeks I will learn Men's hair cutting, then hair coloring, and then manicures. W00t! Also, I made my first trip to the supply house solo, and bought some hair color, and colored some hair. Weeee! That is all for now, the boyfriend is great, we are happy, and he lives here now. Everyone loves him, including kitty. He feeds her soft food every morning, and I am getting the impression that she loves him more than me now. She just puts up with me because I clean her poops up. Bitch. :-D All is well here at the homefront.

That's a BIG one.

I want that hookah so bad. The stem breaks down into two pieces, and the other parts kind of break down, too.
The biggest part when fully disassembled is the base.
I have heard so many good things about this hookah, I cannot wait till I buy it for myself as a Christmas present.
The base is acrylic, and it screws together. No gromets to deal with. And it is cool looking.
I have a goal of having enough hookahs to line a room or something. When I buy a house, I most deffinitley am having a hookah room with couches like that installed in the walls. Tile flooring. Oh man, I am getting excited about it already and it is far away. =-P Hopefully whoever is my husband will like hookah and not mind.

Minor update. I am happy, but I cannot shake this weird mood I am in tonight. Things are great, and I feel bad.
It's weird. I feel like I am sad, or upset, but I am not.
Stupid hormones. I hate having to balance the animalistic urges that humans have with social responsibilities that we impose on ourselves.
All so we feel better than the baboons who fling shit around. We are civilized.

This song does funny things to me now, and I have not stopped listening to it for DAYS now.
He doesn't know that. He does funny things that stick in my head, and I replay them over and over again.
Turbo speed. My mind works at a turbo speed. I get all ahead of myself, and forget about the now.

I suck at updating this thing. I have been too busy living.
I am truly happy right now. Things are the best that they have ever been.

I have a cake job that pays well and is across the street from home.
I have great friends that I have a lot of fun with no matter what we are doing.
I am perfecting my mission to dance and sing whenever I want to. You should try it - It is liberating to not give a shit.
I have wonderful family. I appreciate the fact that my parents are married and I have a great relationship with them.
I have a great boyfriend who complements my personality perfectly. 100% everything that I want.
I have positive self image right now. It is important.
I wish I could make everyone feel like I do right now, and I hope I can keep it up.


Also, if you are in the mood for hookah, there is a great pool hall in the Long John Silver's plaza on Bell and the 51.
They have hookah, one of the only bars in Phoenix. Great hookah, awesome pool tables, and good video games / pinball machines.
They use a brand of tobacco that I have never seen before, Kings. It is pretty good so far.
I had Raspberry Guava, and the guy put Raspberry Iced Tea in the base. OH MAN it was good. Plus there is a bar next door to it.
Go there, and tell all of your friends so they don't get closed down.
